1.1 This website is operated by Afriessence (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Any use or purchases made through this website are governed by these Terms, which may be updated periodically. The version of the Terms applicable to your purchase will be the one in effect at the time you place your order. Please check these Terms before each order to ensure you understand the latest version.

1.2 We sell our products to wholesalers, retailers, and end-users.

1.3 Order confirmation will be provided once an order is placed on Afriessence’s e-commerce website, either through an on-screen message or via email. In some cases, both methods may be used.

1.4 An order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance and contract formation occur once the goods are dispatched to you.

1.5 You must be at least 18 years old and must have completed the registration process to place an order on our website.

1.6 If any part of these Terms is deemed unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable by a competent authority, the remaining Terms will remain valid and enforceable.

1.7 These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Pricing & Payments

2.1 All prices listed on the website are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Each order includes a shipping charge, displayed as a separate fee on the checkout page before final confirmation. The shipping fee depends on factors such as order value, delivery address, and shipping method.

2.3 Current shipping charges:

Standard UK Shipping (2 to 3 business days): £4.90
International Shipping (7 to 10 business days): £19.80

2.4 Prices and delivery charges may be subject to updates. The applicable price will be the one in effect at the time of order placement.

Order Acceptance & Availability

3.1 While we strive to fulfill all orders, large quantity requests are subject to our discretion.

3.2 Placing an order is an offer to purchase products. Acceptance occurs once goods are dispatched and payment is successfully processed.

Delivery

4.1 Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. We use third-party couriers and cannot guarantee specific delivery time slots.

4.2 Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout. Any changes to the delivery address must be made before finalizing your order. We reserve the right to restrict deliveries in certain areas.

4.3 All products are subject to availability. In cases of limited stock, we may limit the number of items per customer to ensure fair distribution.

4.4 If your delivery includes incorrect or incomplete items, notify us immediately. You will not be charged for any incorrectly delivered items. Our liability is limited to the cost of the incorrect items and their delivery charge.

4.5 An appropriate recipient must be available to accept deliveries. If no one is available, the courier will leave a failed delivery notification, and it will be your responsibility to arrange redelivery.

4.6 External factors (e.g., adverse weather, logistical disruptions) may occasionally result in delivery delays. If this occurs, we will contact you to reschedule. Our liability is limited to the price of the undelivered items and their delivery charge.

4.7 If a perishable order (such as temperature-sensitive items) cannot be delivered due to customer unavailability, we reserve the right to charge in full for the order and delivery.

4.8 If you request a package to be left unattended at your address, we disclaim liability for theft, tampering, or damage.

4.9 Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

International Shipping

5.1 We ship to Europe (excluding custom duties in the destination country).

5.2 Estimated delivery times for European orders: 3+ business days after dispatch.

5.3 Perishable items (such as frozen goods) may not be eligible for international shipping due to temperature control requirements. If ordered, it is at your own risk.

5.4 Shipping in Bulk service is available—terms may vary.

5.5 Duties, import taxes, and local charges outside the UK are not included in our shipping fees and are the responsibility of the recipient.

5.6 Some countries may require an import license. It is your responsibility to check and ensure compliance before purchasing.

Returns & Refunds

6.1 We accept returns for unused, unopened items in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt. Perishable and personal care items are non-returnable.

6.2 If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or faulty, contact us immediately for a resolution. Refunds or replacements will be processed based on our investigation.

6.3 Refunds (if applicable) will be processed via the original payment method within 5-10 business days of approval.
